Parent Community Portal

Welcome to Otis' Private Parent Community

PARENTS AND FAMILIES: HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU

Konstella

The most important thing to do to receive official school news and announcements is to register on Konstella, Otis’ Private Parent Community. Once you have registered, you can join communities for your child’s class as well as for programs and events that interest you. You can keep up with volunteer signups and get updates about what you want, in a format you choose. Click here to register now

Receiving too many e-mails? Wondering how to join your child's class group in Konstella? Trying to figure out how to sync calendars? For help with settings and answers to all of your questions, contact:

Vice President of Programs

& Volunteer Coordinator: Erica Hartono Kolodny
ericahartono@gmail.com

Or attend a Konstella training workshop:

Locations TBD

Thursday, Aug. 31, 7 p.m. // Free childcare

Thursday, Sept. 7, 6 p.m. (Right before Back to School Night for parents/guardians)

Monday, Sept. 18, 8:45 a.m. (Bonus: Since this is School Picture Day, you can have your volunteer ID made the same morning.)

Outlook

You should also make sure you are on track to receive the Outlook, Otis’ official weekly (and by special-edition) school newsletter. The Outlook comes out every Wednesday and contains important school news. If you do not receive the Outlook, first check your e-mail settings to see if newsletter e-mails are being filed in a junk mail folder, then contact the Outlook editor at otisoutlook@gmail.com to make sure we are sending the newsletter to the best e-mail address. Visit the archive of Outlook Newsletters on our PTA page.

Wednesday Envelopes

In most classes at Otis, an envelope goes home with each student, every Wednesday, with important information from the classroom and school.

Facebook

On Facebook? Be sure to like/follow Otis Elementary School and to join Otis Elementary Parents' Group. Threads posted by Otis Elementary School represent official announcements from Otis PTA and/or administration.

Monday Morning Assembly

Every Monday during the school year, weather permitting, students gather on the blacktop before heading into their classrooms to hear announcements. Parents and families are always welcome.

Bulletin Boards and Posters

Anytime you are on campus, keep your eyes on the walls to see what's new and fun at school.
