The 2016 Otis Walk-A-Thon is fast approaching and we need your help to make it a success. Come cheer on our kids as they walk around the blacktop and Krusi Park to raise money for their school. GO OWLS!

  • VOLUNTEER at Walk-A-Thon by clicking HERE to SIGN-UP.
  • We especially need people to sign-up for the "2nd shifts" starting at 10am, and to bring water coolers.

Help your student to get ready and get walking by checking out this very fun Otis Walk-A-Thon Video!

  • Forward this video along to family and friends and get them excited to support your child and his/her school.
  • Our Walk-A-Thon fundraising goal this year is $52,000 which makes up almost 1/3 of the PTA Annual Budget
  • If each child aims to raise $120 we will meet this goal!
  • Students can collect cash or checks (made out to Otis PTA), or you can ask donors to make their donation online at:

Walkathon is an annual major fundraising event where students gather donations from friends, family and neighbors, and then walk as many laps as they can around Krusi Park during a school day.  Parents are encouraged to help their children gather "pledges" in advance of the event and help at the event itself.  Please check the Otis PTA Outlook and Room Parent communications for more information and volunteer opportunities.

In 2015, the Otis Walkathon raised a whopping $51,854.51! This was more than our goal and more than we raised in any past year.  The funds raised from Walkathon have a huge impact on the school and our students - they are used to help pay for field trips, assemblies, media and technology, a K music teacher, small-skills reading and math support, and much, much more. Our kids do the walking - and they will reap the rewards!

The Otis community comes through in big ways time and again.  Let's make the 2016 Walkathon another great success.  GO OWLS!
